Chet Morrison Contractors’ Pipeline Division installs and repairs infield flow lines and transmission lines all along the Gulf Coast.  Our vessels work offshore from South Texas to Florida to ensure that your oil and gas production gets to market.  Our seamless approach to projects integrates inland and offshore pipeline projects—from the shallow waters of lakes, bays and brown waters throughout the Gulf Coast region, to the deep blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico and beyond.

Flagship pipelay vessels, CM9, CM11, and CM15, feature state-of-the-art accommodations and efficient work stations. Pipeline production lines are well equipped to guarantee quality installations for 24-hour operation in variable weather conditions.  The CM15 is outfitted with a saturation diving system, offering customers a unique option of installing a pipeline and performing the tie-ins from a single dispatch. 

The CMC motor fleet provides full-range diving and diving support services.  DSVs Stephanie Morrison and Kelly Morrison each accommodates 35 personnel and has a 40-ton hydraulic crane.  The Stephanie Morrison’s double deck configuration allows support equipment, diving chambers, compressors and bells to be stored on the lower deck, leaving the upper deck open for material storage and the fabrication of pipeline components.  The Kelly Morrison is purposely designed with below-deck air compressors and jet pumps to leave the main deck available for material storage and fabrication of its pipeline components. In 2008, our fleet will expand again, not only in size but in capabilities. The DSV Joanne Morrison, measuring 240’ x 48’, will go into service outfitted with four-point mooring capabilities, a 70-ton hydraulic crane, a moon pool and a saturation diving system. 

The 175’ Caroline Morrison is our offshore supply vessel.  It complements CMC’s fleet by providing field support, production material transportation and field equipment repair services.
