CMC-Mexico In 2002, CMC was established in Veracruz, Mexico, supplying inland/offshore labor & fabrication services. In 2004, a 40-acre facility was bought in Alvarado, Mexico with the vision to convert it into a shipyard. CMC-Mexico has expanded its operations to support exploration and production companies. Its geographic location will allow CMC-Mexico to service other Latin America customers. CMC-Mexico has more than 490 employees including certified structural fitters - pipe fitters, ABS class certified welders, painters, sandblasters, tank cleaners, scaffolders, riggers, bilingual supervisors and project managers, among others. The strength in Chet Morrison Mexico lies in the foundation practice of an “open” concept where we adapt ourselves to meet our customers’ specifics needs regardless of the size of the work. Our operations are headed by Hector Enriquez who has 20+ years experience in construction, shipbuilding, fabrication, and ship repair. Some of our customer base includes Noble Drilling, Pride Drilling, Diamond Drilling, Global, Manesk Drilling, CFE Electrical Company and Nabors Drilling.
