Chet Morrison Contractors has a proven track record in fabrication, sandblasting, painting, and welding at its four purpose-designed, workflow efficient facilities.  CMC has a specialty repair and marine fabrication yard in Alvarado, Mexico, two domestic energy-related fabrication yards in Harvey and Houma, Louisiana, and operates an additional facility in Trinidad and Tobago. 

Domestically, the two South Louisiana waterfront facilities have convenient access to the Gulf of Mexico.  The covered fabrication space and overhead shop cranes allow for 24-hour scheduling and ease of material handling.  Each yard has well-equipped indoor paint facilities and on-site yard cranes for heavy load-outs.  A special characteristic of the Houma yard is a 210 foot by 150 foot wet slip to accommodate material barges of up to 300 feet.  The Harvey yard is a certified ASME U and National  Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors "R" Stamp facility located on the Harvey Canal.   Additionally, CMC’s services in sandblasting and painting are offered at onshore and offshore customer locations. 

Internationally, the two locations cover a diversity of fabrication and construction capabilities.  An experienced ship repair and marine fabrication work force are on staff at the 40-acre multi-use facility located in Alvarado, Mexico. The facility’s size and infrastructure provides abundant under-roof fabrication, storage, and painting accommodations.  Trinidad Offshore Fabricators, known as TOFCO, is operated by CMC and specializes in the fabrication and construction of industry facilities.  Located on the Gulf of Paria in South LaBrea, marine access is unrestricted by navigational height and width constraints.    Both facilities offer offshore services and repairs and 24-hour scheduling.
